India to tour Sri Lanka for a ODI and T20 series starting 21 July 2012. India last played in Asia Cup 2012 where Sachin Tendulkar completed his 100th ton despite not making through the finals. Now India are up against Sri Lanka to play 5 ODI and one-off T20.
The series marks to beginning of preparation for T20 world cup in September. Indian batsman played well in the IPL but they haven’t played any international matches since May 2012. Team needs to get back into rhythm to give a tough fight against host. Sri Lanka are high on confidence with after beating Pakistan at home. Their batsman or bowlers are in form and know the condition quite well. It will interesting to see how the Indian team perform against them.
